Introduction to the Bible

The Bible class series is being taught by Fr Joe Evans, a priest of Opus Dei who was the Catholic Chaplain at King's College, London, for ten years.

The course starts on Wednesday 15th April, with a second session on Friday 17th April. The course will continue then every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8.30pm, Don't worry if you missed the first session!

After an initial exploration of general themes linked to the Bible (eg why does the Bible have the books it does? What do we mean when we say it is true or it is inspired?), classes we explore the major types of works in the Old and New Testament: eg the historical books, the psalms, the prophets, the gospels, the epistles, the book of Revelation, etc.

Come with your questions - and a Bible in hand (paper or electronic).
